Iām absolutely crazy about Navajo blankets. The pure geometry resonates for me. But this is my personal interpretation. Therefore, It has to have some humor and absurdity. This is assembled on a wooden armature found in a clearance aisle in a discount store. The construction is quite shoddy so there were many challenges in terms of assemblage.
My focus was on the harmony and the communication between the rectangles: like a dialogue among family members. A unity and disunity coexists. I always aim to juxtapose disparate elements into a cohesive whole.
This is an attempt to juggle oranges while jumping through multiple hoops.
