I love the colors in this piece. It transports me to the Southwest and that unique blue Santa Fe sky. I’ve stored up mental images from trips and then let them carry on their own conversation in my art. To me, this piece suggests different worlds and different planes of existence. This piece includes porcupine quills; the animal world gets to speak.
